Collection of information, analysis and drafting of the document on the characterization of the supply of legal timber in the Lima market.

The Peruvian forestry sector is the scene of multiple complaints of illegal logging and deforestation, which is why the Project “Strengthening competitiveness and forest governance in Peru” seeks to focus actions on those groups that are complying with the measures provided by the State to demonstrate the legality, promoting actions that give value to legal and sustainable timber trade and differentiate between companies that adopt good practices. The project is supported by the FAO EU FLEGT Program.
